Founded in 2026 by Judy Wangari Wanjiku, the brand’s identity is anchored by the French word "Azure" signifying a calm, clear blue sky and inspired by the founder's grandmother, who used to weave traditional African baskets (chondos) with a peaceful state of mind. Today, Azure Merchants channels that exact clarity and joy into the delicate craft of crocheting.

Operating out of Juja Town, the shop maintains a dedicated supply of high-quality, ready-stock pieces. Their unique product line primarily utilizes premium acrylic materials to create eye-catching, comfortable daily wear.
